Well Losties, it has been a long wait but our crazy island show has returned and I'm sure by now all dedicated fans should have some sort of honorary Quantum Physics degrees by now from figuring the theory of 'string' time travel. The show's producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindeloff had said last season that they are always trying to create new ways of telling the story of Lost (and it's time skips) in different ways. From the beginning we had flashbacks to our characters lives, then flash forwards of what is to come. We even had a fantastic method in the episode The Constant where we would see Desmond mentally move back and forth from present to past and it was superbly told in a way that enthralled us. Season 5 has now laid the basis of the story that the two time periods focused on this season will be three years after the Oceanic 6 got off the island and the reoccuring time changes on the island. We are told this as Ben and Jack are talking in the motel:- Jack : "What has happened to the rest of them over the past three years?" Ben : "You mean he didn't tell you?" Jack : (dramatic pause) "....no" Ben : (longer dramatic pause) ".....then I guess we'll never know" This season will be the journey and struggle of our characters being reunited. Some are on the island battling time skips and the perils and enemies therein (the Dharma Initiative of the past), and three years ahead it will be the 6's plus Ben and (dead?) Locke returning to the island....but at what point in time they will return is still unclear. The survivors on the island are now reunited with Locke (alive) at the end of episode 2, so hopefully that storyline will continue by developing the survivors relationship with the Hostiles (Others). Could it be that all along the Hostiles on the island were the future survivors of Oceanic 815?? I think so. And I think we'll see Ben as a child more and his role growing up to deceive the Dharma Initiative.Three years ahead, Hurley has jepordised the mission to return back to the island by giving himself up to the police and Ben has only 70 hours to get ready fot the return. The woman in the old church has found a way to get them back. She obviously has some sort of connection to the energy that gives the island the ability to move through time. This will be revealed but REMEMBER, we have seen her before when Desmond's flashs were explained. She was the woman who would not sell him the engagement ring to Penny and explained to him that time cannot be changed, what will happen will happen and she has correlated when and where the island will be to send them back to. Well that is my view on the new premiere. Feel free to comment and discuss as all opinions are welcome. I'm just happy the show is back to pickle our brains once more. See you on the island.....
*Lost Season 5 Premiere Spoilers Included!* Mind. Blowing. We finally got our Lost Season 5 premiere, and I don't think I'm being generous at all when I say it was absolutely mind blowing! Could anything have summed up the big premiere better than the words from the mouth of the great and mysterious Locke himself: "When am I??" Now that, my lostie friends, is the million dollar question. If you are even getting close to wrapping your mind around all the completely insane time jumps happening throughout the 2-hour premiere, what do you think is going on here and what is the big goal they seem to be working towards? Was the fact that either the island or the survivors were moving around in time what went so terribly wrong because the Oceanic 6 left? And if that's so, shouldn't that really be because Ben moved the island? (Related to them leaving, but that was not actually the 6's fault.) But yet, it was starting to become clear that Locke was the leader and he (and Desmond??) were the only ones who could "save" the island, and Locke had to "die" to do this. (Thanks for continuing to be amazingly confusing and never-aging, Richard.) We were left with it looking like it will take a long, drawn-out time to work out getting the Oceanic 6 to agree to go back, and then we'll have to discover how on earth they can get back, plus either before or after that see how Locke figured out how to get off the island - and also what these 6 can actually do to stop or change the bad things happening on the island. So what did you think? Did the premiere leave you mind blown? What are your theories about what's going on and what the "point" is of all this premiere time-shifting madness? And for those of you not quite processing all that yet, feel free just to rate how hot Sawyer looked shirtless all first episode long! I will unashamedly give him a 20/10. Ok I've been hearing rumors about a Splinter Cell & Metal Gear movie for years. Now here are my opinions about who should be in the films. Metal Gear I say have Samuel Witwer play Solid Snake. If there is a way to voice over him or study with David Hayter to get the character down right. I think they can pull it off as long as there is a good director but only Hideo Kojima should direct in my eyes. Frank Miller has been allowed to go from an illustrator to a movie director and his films came out perfect to his vision. I think Hideo would make a hit with a Metal Gear Film Splinter Cell Now I love Tom Clancy as a writer and his games always seem to have great political stories as well as action. I say have Matthew Fox star as Sam Fisher & Paul Greengrass Direct the film. I think Matthew is young enough to make a trilogy of films but old enough to look like Sam Fisher. These images just work in comparison. Paul Greengrass did a great job with the Bourne films in the sense of depth of the character around the world. Sam should be experienced with would situations in his espionage. The action was amazing as well with the close quarters combat. These are my opinions and if any body from Hollywood reads this then I hope they take it to heart. tell me what you guys think???

My TV wishes this week: 1. End Dancing With The Stars already - Oh wait, they did that one already. Yay! Now all is needed is to end the show permanently.... 2. Skip To January - I can't possibly wait one whole month for Damages, Big Love, Scrubs and Lost. I may be able to wait for Big Love, though. 3. Where's George? - He seems to be missing from everything in Grey's even after becoming a resident. He is one, right? Even Lexi and the interns have........ Continue Reading!
