Hayden arrived at the kitchen to learn that the man standing between him and MasterChef history would be brilliant pattisier Vincent Gadan. The saving grace for Hayden, however, was that neither man knew the dish they would be cooking, which turned out to be savoury rather than sweet: a roast pork dinner. With Gadan's lack of experience with the ingredients he found the going tough, while Hayden's nerves got the better of him and he failed to put his pork in the oven early enough. After the blind tasting Hayden only needed a 6 or higher from George, who unfortunately received an uncooked piece of meat and was only able to award a 4, giving the Challenge win to Gadan.
