Lydia, TK and Wade arrived for their Elimination Pressure Test, with the judges welcoming the brilliant Peter Gilmore to the kitchen to present the dish – his Eight-Texture Chocolate Cake. The contestants watched in awe as Gilmore proceeded to pour a hot chocolate ganache over the cake, causing the centre to melt away. Intimidated but invigorated, the three amateur chefs began working their way through a recipe four pages long. Given the complexity of the dish, all performed amazingly well, but it was Lydia who was judged to have plated the least impressive effort, sending her home.
