In the midst of the final battle in Edmonton, McGillis reveals his true motives to Gaelio as well as his involvement with Carta's death before an enraged Gaelio attacks his friend until McGillis stabs the Kimaris through the chest, presumably killing him. Meanwhile Kudelia and Makanai make it to the parliament assembly in time. As Mikazuki and Ein engage in a bloody duel, Kudelia takes her stand to give one more speech to the world with Makanai winning the election. Meanwhile Orga gives his comrades a final order not to die on the battlefield while waiting for the cease-fire signal as their mission is now complete.
