Loved this show! Bruce Willis was cute, hilarious and just so funny, Cybill Shepard was sassy and sexy and wore custom made silk dresses like she owned them (she got them all on loan, lucky gal!) and Mark Harmon even made appearances - catch me before I swoon.... ;) Still, hands down a great comedy, silly, adorable show that had me captivated and waiting for every new episode...they even had a 'Taming of the Shrew' episode, "We hate iambic pentameter!"

Sometime you just can't win for loosing. Reading about this show answered a lot of lingering questions I had. The dialog was fast paced and overlapping and therefore they had twice as many pages to memorize. The shooting schedule was 14-16 hours a day. They would air re-runs in between new shows (may be the norm now, not so back then) and they never had a 20+ episode season as most network shows do.

The fighting between Sheppard and Willis was well known. Willis was on his way to stardom and so it goes. Another show gone and make room for a new one. But we have it in syndication to remember the good times.

The beautiful model and the P.I. solving cases together, mixed with wit and humor and a sparkle of innocent sexual lingering between them (not the same as HBO does these days). That was 80's-style and I loved it. (Almost) parallel to this ran a quite similar show - Remington Steele. I sincerly can not say which duet I would prefer: Bruce and Cybill, or Pierce and Stephanie.
If you give this P.I. and this model a try, then also give the former thief and the female P.I. a chance - worth it!
