TV ratings: 'Mind Games' has a weak start Tuesday, 'About a Boy' and 'Growing Up Fisher' solid

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014The time-period debuts of "About a Boy" and "Growing Up Fisher" performed pretty well for NBC Tuesday following "The Voice," with repeats of each show's pilot matching or improving on their post-Olympic premieres in adults 18-49. The news was not nearly as good for ABC's new drama "Mind Games," which opened weakly and continued the network's struggle in the 10 o'clock timeslot this season. "NCIS" was the night's most-watched show overall but was on the low side of its season average for CBS. "Glee" moved to a new night and improved slightly on its last original episode, as did "New Girl" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."CBS drew 13.6 million viewers and an 8.7 rating/14 share in households in primetime, leading second-place NBC (9.25 million, 5.6/9) by a comfortable margin. CBS (8.1 million, 5.3/8) came in third. ABC (2.7 million, 1.9/3) finished fourth, and The CW (923,000, 0.6/1) trailed.NBC's 4.8 rating among adults 18-49 easily led the demographic race.
