Extended NCIS Promo: Giving Thanks

NCIS returns with a new episode next Tuesday. Before the team can give thanks in the second half of "Shell Shock," one Marine must help another complete a mission he never expected he'd be facing. Gibbs continues to work with troubled Captain Joe Wescott (Brad Beyer) while he retraces his steps in order to help the team track down a terrorist. As you can see, that effort is filled with obstacles. Our fearless leader may not be able to save everyone, but that doesn't mean he can't try, especially for a man whose sacrifices on behalf of the country have given way to a crippling case of PTSD. NCIS Sneak Peek: Confronting PTSD

Tonight on NCIS, a Navy Lieutenant who recently returned home from the Middle East is found dead from a brutal attack, leading the team to question the victim's friend, Marine Captain Joe Wescott (Brad Beyer). We first meet Beyer in the clip below, when it appears he's looking for his friend as well. Gibbs realizes the Captain is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and it's fairly obvious from the first moment he appears. NCIS Spoilers: Tiva to Open Up Like Never Before?

This summer, NCIS' brain trust promised to "take things further" with Tony and Ziva in Season 10. As always, that could mean any number of things. Ambiguity is one of the show's calling cards. That said, executive producer Gary Glasberg offered this insight to TV Guide: "As we get into November sweeps, expect to see Tony and Ziva opening up to each other more, sharing some guarded memories that they both cherish." "Tony will have some decisions to make as the season progresses," the show-runner adds of Michael Weatherly's character, hinting, "decisions that could leave him at a real emotional crossroads." http://www.tvfanatic.com/2012/11/ncis-spoilers-tiva-to-open-up-like-never-before/
