The 2010 event was hosted by Stewart and was filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars including Lewis Black, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Will Forte, Jim Gaffigan, Ricky Gervais, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, John Oliver, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog and more. In 2010, "Night Of Too Many Stars" was held both in New York and Los Angeles, with the New York performance recorded for broadcast on October 2, 2012 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The show premiered on COMEDY CENTRAL on Thursday, October 21 and featured wrap-around segments from Stewart and other comedic all-stars live from Los Angeles. During the live broadcast viewers were able to call in to the celebrity phone bank and donate to the effort while getting an opportunity to speak with celebrity heavyweights who answered the phones, including Rob Corddry, Bryan Cranston, Larry David, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Kimmel, Jim Parsons and Sofia Vergara, among others.
