'Nikita' Season 4 farewell previewed at Comic-Con 2013

"Nikita" hit San Diego for its last ever Comic-Con International panel to give fans a preview of the final six episodes.Executive producer Craig Silverstein noted he's glad the show will have the opportunity to wrap things up in a fourth season, even if it's abbreviated. "Hopefully knowing it's gonna finish lets us end it with an exclamation point," he said. "I think what it means is you get right to the good stuff," Silverstein added. "You don't have that slower build-up. The way our seasons end really fast and things happen one right after the other, that's how we're gonna start this season. Not take our foot off the peddle until the very end."Series star Maggie Q admitted she's not quite ready for things to end. "I don't know about you guys but when I found out about the last order my initial question was nothing to do with the show it was to do... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/07/nikita-season-4-farewell-previewed-at-comic-con-2013.html

TV ratings: 'Nikita' finale rises slightly while 'Shark Tank' dominates a night of news and reruns

Fast National ratings for Friday, May 17, 2013Despite a quiet night on all of the networks, "Nikita" saw soft ratings for its Season 3 finale, landing at the bottom of the ratings pile against a lineup of reality, news programs and repeats. The low-rated -- yet already renewed for a final fourth season -- program only pulled in 1.1 million viewers for the only original scripted program of the night. While an increase over recent weeks, the show has seen higher ratings this season alone. Thanks mostly to the dominance of two hours of "Shark Tank," the night's highest-rated show, ABC led the night overall, with 5.7 million viewers and a 3.7/7 share in households. NBC's solid night of news programming followed (5.2 million, 3.6/7), with CBS' (4.9 million, 3.3/6) "Undercover Boss"-dominated night rounding out the big three. FOX aired only reruns to come in fourth (2.2 million, 1.5/3), while The CW lagged with 0.9... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/tv-ratings-nikita-finale-rises-slightly-while-shark-tank-dominates-a-night-of-news-and-reruns.html

Fast National ratings for Friday, May 10, 2013Though it had already been given the ax by FOX, Kiefer Sutherland's "Touch" managed to see a slight uptick in ratings for its Season 2 (and series) finale. The show saw 2.5 million total viewers, up slightly from last week's 2.2. While the minor rise won't do the show any favors at this point, it could help Sutherland's cause with the strange new rumor that FOX is seeking to revive "24" as a limited-run series.Over at CBS, freshman drama "Vegas" also closed up shop for good. Ending its first and only season, the Dennis Quaid-led series saw a slight decline in total viewers with 7.1 million, compared to last week's 7.26. The show's performance also reinforces just how strong CBS is as a network, compared to its competition. A show with the same numbers on NBC would likely run for seven years.CBS, per usual, won the evening with... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/tv-ratings-touch-series-finale-rises-some-while-vegas-series-finale-falls.html
