Nikita's Shane West: The Mikita Honeymoon Isn't Over ... Yet

First comes love, so is marriage far behind? Now that Michael and Nikita are together, can these two crazy Division rogues make it as a couple? "Oh yes, Mikita," Nikita star Shane West tells a group of reporters over coffee. "We love it. The fact that the fans reacted so quickly to that relationship was great. It was really a testament to them and we discovered we could tease a lot [of their romantic history] by adding these flashbacks. I think that was something that grew into the subject line. We're stunned by the fan reaction. We have a fan who sent Mikita posters that are phenomenal." Read More... http://www.tvguide.com/News/Nikita-Shane-West-1032427.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Next Thursday on Nikita ...

Our critic wasn't fully satisfied with last night's Nikita, but with what has been a terrific first season winding down, the CW series has plenty of time to tie up loose ends. Of course, with Nikita , there will only be more loose ends. Next Thursday, Percy is increasingly frustrated that Nikita continues to intercept his black boxes and sends Michael to check on one (and the guardian attached to it). Nikita makes it to the small Pennsylvania town first, however, and is shocked to find that the guardian is a normal woman named Dana who has abandoned her post. As you can imagine, tensions mount when Michael is forced to report Dana's actions. Here's a promo for the third-to-last episode of the season, "Glass Houses" ... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/04/next-thursday-on-nikita/

Shane West Talks About the Exciting Final Episodes of Season 1 of NIKITA

Thanks to the good people over at Warner Brothers, a few of us were pleased to sit down and have coffee with Shane West, who plays  Michael on the hit series  NIKITA . Here are a few things he had to say. On his recent road trip from Toronto back to LA Shane was asked about was his recent road trip from the set in Toronto all the way back to LA. He remarked that he had a great time, but next year he might just have his car  towed back instead as the trip was long. On the development of “Mikita” (Michael and Nikita) Shane said that he was really happy about the development of “Mikita” (Michael and Nikita getting together) and that he and Maggie Q (who plays Nikita) wanted that from the very beginning of the show. They were both shocked when it happened so quickly in the series, but they are glad with the results and they know that it is what the fans wanted. He joked that it took him three years to get one kiss on ER  and now he’s in a relationship in just eight episodes.
