'Hellcats,' 'Nikita,' 'One Tree Hill': Keep 'em or kill 'em?

For the final installment of Bubble Watch 2011, we look at The CW, which by our accounting has four shows that on the bubble for renewal. The network hasn't really been into wholesale turnover the past couple years, but it's not unlikely that one or two of the shows below will join the departing "Smallville" (and the already-gone "Life Unexpected") in the history books. Not a whole lot separates "90210," "Hellcats," "One Tree Hill" and "Nikita" ratings-wise, so any calls The CW does make come the May upfronts will be close ones. As always, we want to hear your opinions via the polls below and in the comments. One note on ratings numbers: For the other networks we've been using the total-viewer counts and adults 18-49 ratings for our bubble determinations. But since The CW is more narrowly focused on people under 35 (and on the even smaller subset of women under 35), we're using the adults... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/04/hellcats-nikita-one-tree-hill-keep-em-or-kill-em.html

Ahead on Nikita: Amanda in Action!

When it comes to Nikita teases and spoilers, nothing gets more juicy than this promo. Seriously, go watch it now. But Melinda Clarke has offered up some interesting scoop of her own in a new interview with TV Line, telling Megan Masters that her character calling for the “cancellation” of Alex doesn't necessarily mean Amanda has it out for this former protege. “She’s trying to help her become the best she can be, and in that she’s the ultimate tiger mom," Clarke says. "She’s sees some brilliance in Alex, but at the same time, if there’s any weakness or doing something you shouldn’t be doing, á la Alex, Amanda might just use it to her advantage.” Read More... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/03/ahead-on-nikita-amanda-in-action/

Maggie Q Speaks on the World of Nikita

Maggie Q must be one of the hardest working actresses in the industry. When she’s not training, shooting and learning languages, she’s trying to get to sleep before 8 a.m. The Nikita star was gracious enough to take time out of her busy schedule to talk in depth with TV Fanatic about her role as on The CW hit, Mikita, where the series is heading, and pretty much everything else you’d want to know about the show...  http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/03/exclusive-maggie-q-speaks-on-the-world-of-nikita/
