Mac and Jo are now in mediation over custody arrangements. The boys have their own lawyer, Lauren, who shocks Mac by revealing that Noah has decided he wants to live with his mother while Frank wants a 50/50 arrangement. A day at the zoo reminds Mac of the sad fathers with weekend visiting rights and makes him determined to fight it. When Brian springs Noah wagging school and smoking dope he points out that Mac has perfect ammunition. Mac doesn’t want to resort to underhand tactics, but feels pushed to do so by Jo. When Noah is challenged he has a tantrum and Mac and Jo are united for a moment. But then Jo turns the tables; she wants to take the custody issue to court. With Celeste at a sleep over, Jules wants to play but Catherine is tired. Then she learns that Celeste spent the night at Shay’s. Jules assures her that Shay is sensible, but Catherine is worried. Celeste is only 14 and clearly has a crush on one of Shay’s friends, Hamish, who is directing the band video. She and Mac bond over troublesome teens and Catherine tries to talk to Celeste about her feelings, but this only makes matters worse. Jules wants Celeste to be in the band video and Catherine reluctantly agrees. At the wrap party, Celeste realises that Hamish has a girlfriend. Catherine finds her crying and Celeste reveals that she had sex with Hamish. Jules is furious and vows revenge, but Catherine points out that it’s Celeste they have to think about.
