It's time to briefly turn away from the fun gritty catfights and mirthful storylines as One Tree Hill takes a very dramatic turn with the arrival of Lydia James, the matriarch of the James family. It's been some time since we last saw Haley's mother on the show, though during her short-lived stint, we already got a glimpse of the kind of mother she is: liberal, open-minded and the kind of parent who gives importance to her children's happiness. We see all those motherly qualities tonight in the episode "My Attendance is Bad But My Intentions Are Good" only this time, Lydia comes with some life-changing news. And if you've seen the trailer for this installment, it's safe to assume that it's something devastatingly horrible. Check out the clip here . As Nathan, Haley, Quinn and Clay deal with Lydia's dilemma, Brooke and Julian attempt to find balance between their personal lives and work as the movie shoot begins. However, Brooke is still struggling to get over her ex. Check out the clip here . Meanwhile, Alex sets her sights on Alexander, and Millicent finds herself struggling with temptation. Source Here

One James family member arrives to bring some bad news, while Millie is still struggling with her addiction. Then there's Brooke who seems to be having a hard time getting over her ex. In "My Attendance is Bad But My Intentions Are Good," the 16th episode of One Tree Hill's seventh season, Brook seems at a loss at how to handle her misery. She tries to find solace at a bar and admits to the bartender that she took a job to be near her ex Julian and it's painful but she's trying to suck it up because it's worse to be away from him. Meanwhile, the bartender tells Brooke about his failed romance. ource & Preview

After watching Monday's One Tree Hill episode, it looks like Julian and Brooke will remain as friends for quite some time. While the transition from lovers to friends is difficult, the friendship thing seems to be working for them. The question is: Are Brooke and Julian really over? Warning: Spoilers ahead!!! If you're worried about Brooke and Julian's future, then this little piece of news should cheer you up. According to Eonline.com, "despite this rough patch, Brooke and Julian will be back together before the end of the season." So what happens to Alex then? Well, her declaration in last week's episode that she's done chasing Julian in spite of still being in love with him may be an indication that she won't be stirring up trouble for Brooke and Julian. However, "she's going to have some problems of her own coming down the pike--problems that have nothing to do with Brooke and Julian. She's going to have the very trendy problem of a sex tape leak! Yep, apparently, there's naked footage of her and her costar in the movie they are making, and it goes public. Scandal!" Are you happy to learn that Brooke and Julian will soon rekindle their romance? Or do you want them to break up for good? And what do you think of Alex's scandal? Source Here

As if Nathan and Haley's house isn't crowded enough, One Tree Hill brings in yet another family member. This time, it's Lydia James, the matriarch of the James family. Warning: If you don't want to be spoiled for next week's One Tree Hill episode, stop reading any further! Not much has been revealed about Lydia on One Tree Hill. After all, we've only seen her in the first and second episodes of season 2 in which she fully supported Haley's decision to marry during her junior year, opposing the views of Nathan's mother Deb, simply because her children's happiness is very important to her.
