Such an awesome show getting cancelled. I really hoped they'd make it to season 7 or something. I hope they go out with a nice season.

The folks at CBS are crazy. How to end a show so popular? Be related to scandals involving NSA?

Many sites report it will be a 13-episode season. I hope the series concludes on a high note. It's been an enjoyable ride.

Why why WHY???? This show is so awesome!!! Why do all the great shows get canceled??? It's sad when a good show gets canceled after one season. But it is even sadder when a show has been on the air for a while and has built a great world and mythology gets canceled when it still could have several seasons more worth of good material to tell.

But... but... the Machine! And Finch! And Root! And Shaw! And Fuscoe! And Reese! Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I need The Man In The Suit! His perseverance and quiet anguish and refusal to stop no matter the odds... he's the best Super Hero I've ever seen. Don't take him away!

Well blow me down,I've stopped bothering cause it so seems that folks at all the major networks are now run by morons and idiots and they only want some brainless idiotic shows to dominate the airways and diminish human intelligence !! F*** hell, when a stupid shows like galavant, crazy ex girlfriend etc etc can go on for ever it clearly shows what I said earlier..............

A BIG FLYING F** * goes to all the folks at CBS who took this decision............

I was so looking forward to this next season. I love this show! It is awesome! I cannot believe they are going to cancel this. I just hope they will tie up all the loose ends and at least let it end in a way that we all can live with. But I really, really hate to see this show go. Very sad . . . :-(

Sorry to hear. This was a really good show. At least they didn't just cancel it without a finish. Then again, will the writers keep us hanging in the end with a "keep us guessing" ending?

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
At least they are having a 5th season, because it was looking bleak.

It sucks because the writers said there was lots more good stuff to come. Maybe they would consider making a comic book or graphic novel to finish off the series?

POI is my favorite show of all time.

The problem is this show was a procedural for too long, it got so good in the later seasons. It was not very good in the early seasons. CBS doesn't know what it is doing though. It just does bad procedurals, so it doesn't know what to do with something that has a plot.

They better have a 2hr finale and bring it to an end that can be brought back in like a decade because we are learning that shows never stay down. Fuller House, Family Guy, Girl Meets World, ect

I'm so disappointed. POI's rating are just as good as shows that CBS is renewing. It's probably because they don't own POI. What a cheat for us fans. There is so much more Story to tell.

its a great show but it was undeniably losing its early charm, getting pretty repetitive and at some junctures convoluting...maybe 13-16 episodes a season would have led to an emmy nomination and would have been perfect in terms of a close-knit story and cutting the fat as POI surely is a compelling watch. i guess its a good time to go, but i sure am eagerly anticipating what J. Nolan has in store for us come final season.

I do feel it is time to end their respective stories. Whilst I loved the show just about until the penultimate series, it was getting convoluted and a bit samey, just my opinion. I still love Cavaziel as the lead and will watch him and the stellar cast in anything else they move onto. Such an amazing concept for a show, glad to see the network has given them the chance to wrap everything up. Will be sad to have no more John Reese to drool over!!!! (Am just that shallow!!!) Great show. Will miss you, Harold!!!

This show is unique and had great seasons and episodes, for all people that are saying that they are cancelling the show, they are not cancelling it but hey are concluding it. There is a difference, cancelling is when the series was planed for further more episodes or seasons but it got concluded earlier than it was supposed to, so the story was cut short and therefore an ending is rushed and roughly made. This show was and is very well written and the actors know what are they doing, and their acting is marvellous but everything needs to end, I just hope that the end will tie everything up and that it will be a great finale and a beautiful season like the others.

I really enjoyed the first season of POI, but after a couple of seasons, it lost its way. Additionally, you can't maintain an audience when the show airs so sporadically.

I've really enjoyed this show, and will miss it, but I'd rather have a solid conclusion rather than have it just drag on and on after the story is done. Looking forward to a satisfying finale.

I was hoping that Shaw would get back as she was good for John to keep his part smooth. I will miss Bear (as in Bearer Bonds eaten) It's a shame but you can only write so many fresh stories and keep it fun to watch each number come up, I know I miss the numbers coming up each week

Well Robert. There were plenty of opportunities to write new scripts for this show. This kind of show could have gone on for years. Maybe they just want the slot for a revamped Honey Boo Boo show. LOL

Actually the word is that CBS canceled it because they don't own the show 100% and so they're not getting enough revenues from it to keep it on air like some of their other shows, even though the ratings were "renew worthy". It's mainly owned by the Warner Bros. and so CBS basically only has "shares" in this particular show. There's an article somewhere that I read where the CEO/Chairman spoke about it.

Okay, as the time is getting closer, 5 episodes left *sobs*...I can't bear the thought of no longer having this show around. I had grown tired of it, it was getting repetitive and as it was one of my top three shows, I couldn't bear to watch it deteriorate. Season 5 turned out to be tremendous!

I wish they hadn't had so many filler episodes and sort-of lost their way in the previous two seasons because, in this last season, with their (writers, producers and Christopher Nolan's) backs against the wall, it was announced that there would be no filler episodes and wow, what a difference that has made. Total reboot.

This last season has shown what this team *can* do when Showrunner, writers and producers get together to say, 'We only have 13 episodes to finish this up, how do we tell the story?'

The answer is, beautifully. Without one plot-line or sentence that didn't matter, with LOTS of humour, with each character suddenly galvanised and up for the fight. It has been by turns, funny, heart-breaking (6,741) and thrilling - as soon as it finishes I am getting out my POI dvd's and watching the entire series from the beginning.

It's not till you're about to lose something that you realise how much you'll miss it and I desperately hope that POI gets picked up by someone else down the line.Even better, they deserve to be renewed for at least one new season.

Hopefully, @unknownfear is correct and someone will make a graphic novel, now that would be cool. But, another reboot would be even better! :)

Yet another show gets cancelled whilst all the *crap* that we know and loathe gets renewed. POI had far more stories to tell. :/

@Scotwot I hear what you are saying, but when you have 24 episode seasons traditionally, its almost impossible to weave the primary storyline into all the them when you have a team of different writers. What you call filler episodes, were, on their own, with the exception of Limitless, better than any other show on TV, even when they didn't progress the main plot. The writing, the action, the cool/collected demeanor of "The Man in The Suit", everything about this show was like a movie. A Jason Statham movie, with elements of The Matrix. But, I hear you. I would prefer it entirely serial as well, but shows like that don't perform as well. Not that it ended up mattering in the end ;__;

A great show in its first few seasons is getting lost in this rush of a truncated final one. Too bad. It's leaving a bad taste for an otherwise well done series.

Well CBS has brought in Brain Dead. Can't say that I'm impressed after the premiere and certainly not near as good as POI. I think if they no longer want to carry this series there should be an opportunity for another network to pick it up. Not to kill it off. After the last episode tough there did seem a possibility of it continuing but not with the same stars.
