Stopping for a break on the way to Castelia City, Ash and Iris are having a practice battle with Scraggy and Axew. They are interrupted when Ash and Pikachu fall down a hole and are confronted by the Sunglasses Sandile who wants to battle. However, a trio of Ducklett come by and begin stealing stuff from the group. They give chase to the Ducklett but this ends up getting them separated and falling victims to the pranks of the Water Bird Pokémon.
