Ash and friends arrive in the town where they will board the ferry to Virbank City. They run into Georgia who in on her way to a place called Ferroseed Research in order to try and make her Ice-type Pokémon more powerful. Intrigued by this, Ash and friends decide to follow her. After touring the facility, everyone is caught up in major crisis when the Ferroseed's absorb too much energy and their electric moss begins to overrun the facility, and soon begins to take over the city. Now everyone must find a way to stop the moss before it covers the entire city and makes all the Electric and Ground-type Pokémon sick.
