Satoshi and the gang reunite with Trova. He explains his interest in snapping a picture of the legendary Fire rumored to have been spotted on the nearby Mt. Ardes. However, when Team Rocket spoils the search, the angered Fire emerges from the volcano. Fire puts everyone's lives at risk and leaves Hinoyakoma in a desperate fight to save its friends.
