This just in: Psych has been around for a very long time. And as the USA Network hit embarks on Season 8, it's doing something very cool with such a vast resume of guest stars in its rear view mirror. The Psych fans have spoken: it was announced yesterday (June 18th) during the hit series’ Comic-Con panel that the fan chosen season eight episode winner is “A Nightmare on State Street.” The episode, which garnered more than 50% of the fan votes online, is written and directed by star James Roday and will take viewers inside the mind of Gus (Dulé Hill) when he undergoes dream therapy to discover the cause of his night terrors. A USA Network favorite gets a supersized final season! TV Line confirms that the network has increased Psych's eighth (and likely final) season order from 8 episodes to 10. Voting is currently open at usanetwork.com for fans to choose the plot of one of the bonus episodes, with the winning storyline to be announced at Comic Con this summer. t’s a big day for Psych news. First up, USA announced that season eight will be getting an additional two episodes-expanding the number of episodes from eight to ten. But wait, it gets better; one of those episodes will be viewer’s choice. Starting today (Wednesday, June 26th), fans can choose from three potential episodes at the official USA Network page.
