Josh (Landon Liboiron) always knew that Matt (Gregg Sulkin) was the perfect son in the family. But when Matt's star begins to fade, Josh thinks that what his parents propose may be taking things to the extreme. It is later revealed that Matt is actually a robot and that his warranty has already expired so he is being replaced. When Josh is forced to go home by an officer, he finds the replacement robot. He angrily confronts his parents and tells them that he already knows about the experiment. His parents then reveal that they are robots, including Josh's friend from school (hinting that everyone else in the world might be robots as well). Josh is trapped in a box and is about to be shipped away as his parents bitterly tell him that they he was the experiment all along and not Matt.
