'Ringer' casting: 'Breaking Bad's' Jonathan Banks takes on Agent Machado

"Ringer" FBI Agent Machado (Nestor Carbonell) isn't easily rattled -- but when Jonathan Banks joins the show in a potentially recurring role, beginning in April, he may have met his match.Zap2it can exclusively reveal that Banks will play Tobias, a "weathered, sarcastic, confident" gentleman (we use that word lightly) who is accused of running an illegal operation. He's definitely got a dangerous side, though, and he's so good at what he does that he knows Agent Machado can't touch him.Banks was nominated for an Emmy for his role as Frank McPike on "Wiseguy." These days, he's best known as go-to fixer Mike Ehrmantraut on "Breaking Bad."... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/ringer-casting-exclusive-breaking-bads-jonathan-banks-takes-on-agent-machado.html

Ringer Preview: Gemma's Father Stops By & Bridget Searches for Answers in Episode 13

This week's episode of Ringer saw Bridget getting a bit closer to uncovering some pertinent information Siobhan obviously never intended for her to find.  First there was the fact that she was in Paris, then there was the fact that she uncovered Siobhan's main alias.  Finally, when she finally managed to track down a phone number connected to her sister, Bridget was picked up by a mysterious man in a car who asked whether she had brought her gun along for the "usual".  Um....usual what? The other big revelation, of course, had to do with Siobhan herself, who initially got blown off by Henry and then finally decided to tell him the truth about everything: that Bridget is posing as her and she's still pregnant with his baby.  Now that Henry knows the truth, will Siobhan have an ally in whatever plans she's trying to progress? Ringer: Does Siobhan Really Love Henry?

I got to thinking about relationships after last week's return of Ringer.   It's clear that Bridget is genuinely falling for Andrew, but the big question right now revolves around Siobhan.  Siobhan is doing her best to play all sides of whatever game she's currently entangled in.  On the one hand, she's been having an affair with Henry for a while and is pregnant with his child.  On the other hand, she did leave him behind when she faked her own death (although she didn't know she was pregnant at the time) and is now trying to convince Tyler that he's the father of her child, supposedly to manipulate him into helping her get information from Andrew's company. So the big Ringer debate is whether or not Siobhan genuinely loves Henry.  I think the answer to this question goes a long way to understanding the kind of person that Siobhan really is.  It's clear that her marriage to Andrew was likely one of convenience.  So did she just start up with Henry because she was bored or did she really have feelings for him? Ringer Sneak Peek: Andrew's Ex-Wife Drops By Tonight

Ringer returned last week and jumped right back into the action.  Siobhan is skulking around New York, trying to gain access to the financial records for Martin/Charles.  She even went so far as to break into her old apartment and managed to avoid being seen by Andrew and Bridget, although she's clearly not happy about her sister fitting into her old life.  Meanwhile, Andrew and Bridget's relationship seems right on track and the two are closer than ever.  Malcolm impressed Andrew with some of his computer skills and might be sticking around New York with a new job, while Agent Machado is digging into Bridget's past and her "connection" to the murdered Charlie, although it seems like he's actually uncovering information about Siobhan's plans. Ringer Preview: Juliet's Mother Comes to New York

Ringer finally returned with a new episode this week after a rather long winter hiatus.  Siobhan is now skulking around New York City, spying on Bridget and being very resentful about how easily her sister has slipped into her life.  A chance meeting with Henry also served to confuse the new widower, who later confronted Bridget about failing to meet with him.  Naturally, Bridget had no idea what he meant (since it was Siobhan who had made the plans with Henry).  Will Siobhan be forced to tell Henry the truth about their identities in order to reestablish her relationship with him? Juliet also confessed to Bridget about what her teacher had done and Andrew learned the truth as well when Bridget publicly slapped the teacher and ordered him to leave a fundraiser being thrown at their apartment.  Has Juliet admitted the whole truth about what happened?  Her performance seems to be convincing, but we can't help but wonder if we have the whole story yet. TV ratings: 'Glee' gets a boost from Michael Jackson, gives FOX a demo win Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012A heavily hyped, Michael Jackson-themed episode of "Glee" gave the show its best ratings since early in the season. CBS scored 10.8 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/11 share in households Tuesday night, beating out FOX's 7.5 million and 4.5/7. ABC (5.5 million, 3.6/6) came in third, followed by NBC (4.8 million, 3.1/5). The CW drew 1.4 million viewers and a 0.9/1.FOX easily won the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.2 rating. CBS finished second at 1.7, and ABC and NBC tied for third at 1.6.
