I think this is a good move by USA Network. It was time to conclude the series on a good note and not leave it hanging an cancel it.

WOW!! I can't believe it's been 8 years. I really love this show and will miss it terribly. But it does seem like it's time for it to come to an end. I just hope that they will wrap everything up nicely and won't leave us hanging.

Surprised this one lasted so long in the first place. It got weird and overly complicated around the end of season 2.

I got hooked on this show because of a mini marathon when they re-aired the pilot and three of the already aired episodes. It was light, fun, and an easy way to spend an hour or so. Then I watched for 5 seasons until I fell out of like with it because it became so convoluted and filled with stakes that never met expectations because it's not an outright drama or comedy. Everyone on the show is extremely likable and they do a great job with the material but I lost interest but I am glad to see that they are going out on their own terms and can wrap things up as they see fit.

Why does it feel like this last season took forever for a permiere date to be announced? Or is it just me?

@toyocyabyty-37b9b
It probably took them long to announce it because USA was probably debating if this season would be the last one so they can give it a proper conclusion without it ending with an opening for another season. From what I've seen with other shows that take a while to announce, this is normally the case. Like with Person of Interest on CBS or Strike Back on Cinemax/Sky for example.

Sad to see it go as it was a nice and easy feel good show - but I think it was time for it to end
