Saturday Night Live has set its lineup of hosts and musical guests for the month of May. Drake , who recently released his highly anticipated album Views, will host and perform as musical guest on May 14. Fred Armisen: I Played Prince on SNL Just to Meet Him (Exclusive Video)

Fred Armisen says his famous Prince impersonation on Saturday Night Live grew out of his desire to meet one of his musical heroes. I have never stopped loving Prince, Armisen told TheWrap on Sunday. The reason I did the sketch was 100 percent so I could meet him. It was like a love letter. Saturday Night Live was criticized by some Prince fans over the weekend for including Armisens silly Prince sketches alongside old musical performances by the real Prince. Jimmy Fallon, Maya Rudolph Thrash With Prince at SNL 40th After-Party (Video)

Former Saturday Night Live cast member Tim Kazurinsky recently released a video he shot on his mobile phone of Prince performing Lets Go Crazy at the private, star-studded after-party for SNLs 40th anniversary that happened last year. Prince charmingly altered the first spoken lyric, introducing the song by saying, Dearly, inebriated, before launching into the infectious hit. The turn of phrase was an appropriate one as a drunken Jimmy Fallon can be spotted stage right, thrashing to the epic performance, and at one point does some backup singing.
