Title was funny. The takedown of Hollis Doyle even more so...! If only real life were so simple - so that the political opponents (whichever side you're on) would let their guard down so readily and spew out their real thoughts about their dearest supporters. It was just a touch too easy, but hey, it's tv. Standout performance of the ep was, as always, Papa Pope - what would we do without you! Joe Morton has always been and continues to be mesmerising, I know Papa Pope is *the big bad* but Morton's acting is soooo good I just can't take my eyes off him. Masterclass in acting from him last night. It was also a good, fast, twisty episode, one that I actually enjoyed and my customary groans of, "Oh, not this again," were absent as it was a thrill ride. Last thing, is Jake telling the truth...or is he so bewitched by Papa Pope that it's another underhand scheme...? All in all, it's setting us up for a great season finale.
