Dan and Trish Willoughby have the family of their dreams and successful careers. But things unravel as Dan enters a midlife crisis and has a torrid affair with a seductress named Yesenia. After Trish gets wind of the affair, Dan must choose between his wife and mistress or risk losing them both. In an attempt to reconcile with Trish, Dan plans a family vacation. Dan and the children go sight seeing while Trish rests. Upon returning from their outing, the children discover Trish severely beaten and bloodied with a knife protruding from her head. The investigation uncovers a lust-fuelled affair, a cold-blooded murder and someone isn't who they seem.
