'Smallville' Season 11: Comic book picks up where The CW left off

Good news, "Smallville" fans! While the show is done for good (and we couldn't have asked for a better series finale last May) Bryan Q. Miller, a writer and story editor from the TV series, is picking up where the show left off.Miller and DC Comics have announced a "Smallville Season 11" comic book series, which will be published digitally beginning April 13, 2012, with a new issue every week. The series will also be available in print beginning May 16. We'll revisit all our favorite characters six months after we last saw them -- not only Clark Kent, but Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Chloe Sullivan-Queen, General Lane, and yes, Mr. Lex Luthor. 'Green Arrow': Stephen Amell cast in the lead role

The lead for the new CW show "Green Arrow" has been found! Stephen Amell will play the lead role of a vigilante superhero who fights crime with archery and technology using Arrow's secret identity as Oliver Queen, wealthy playboy and billionaire in Star City, according to Deadline. Justin Hartley played the role on the long-running CW series, "Smallville." Dinah Laurel Lance will also be a featured character, though not as the Black Canary and using her middle name "Laurel." Oliver Queen's mother Moira is still alive in the present day, with Oliver Queen returning to "Starling City" after people believed he was dead for five years.Amell has appeared on a number of shows, including a turn as Brady on "The Vampire Diaries."
