A man in his early 30s struggles to find a balance in his life between being a new dad and his involvement in a motorcycle gang.
Jax grows weary of the increasing lawlessness of the motorcycle club he is involved with. His life becomes more unstable when he discovers his late father's true vision for the Sons of Anarchy, and his crank-addicted ex-wife gives birth to his son.
This was the first show that restored my faith in television. The brilliance of Kurt Sutter cannot be praised enough. Even the concept is so unique - who would have thought this idea of a motorcycle gang's (I know, it's not a gang, it's a club) existence and day-to-day lives could be so compelling. It may be over-the-top violent for some, but I feel this is the kind of realism that makes for intelligent drama. The acting is incredible, the casting perfect and the writing, the writing, the writing! I love the way KS writes! Shows like this more than make up for total crap, like Jersey Shore or the 'Housewives' franchises. 7 seasons is not enough!
