Stargate Infinity is an animated television series produced for children as a spin-off from the popular science fiction series Stargate SG-1 (a series based on the 1994 film Stargate). The cartoon was very unpopular and was cancelled after one season, before any of its major plots could be resolved. Co-produced by MGM and DiC Entertainment and directed by Will Meugniot, the show premiered in September 2002 as part of FOX's Saturday morning line-up and went off the air in June 2003.
