'Supernatural' Preview: Castiel Tells His Side of the Story

All season on Supernatural , there's been something off about Castiel. Fans assumed it was just the struggles of fighting a war in Heaven against Raphael, but in reality, the angel has been dealing with far more difficult things. We learned the truth at the end of "Mommy Dearest" when it was revealed that Cas is secretly working with Crowley, the King of Hell. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/supernatural/supernatural-preview-castiel-t-40189.aspx

'Supernatural's' Ben Edlund: Castiel's betrayal 'is going to hurt Dean deeply'

After six years of "Supernatural," we thought we'd seen it all, but when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) killed the Mother of All in last week's episode, we were shocked. After all, if they kill the big bad in Episode 19, what is there to do in episodes 20, 21, and 22? Sit around and pat each other on the back? Unfortunately for the brothers Winchester, three episodes of celebratory air guitar wasn't in the cards. In the final scene of last week's episode, we learned that the Mother of All was the least of their worries. The angel on their shoulders, Castiel (Misha Collins), had teamed up with the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark Sheppard), who they'd presumed dead.Life's just not fair sometimes. This week's episode, "The Man Who Would Be King," was written and directed by producer Ben Edlund - it's his "Supernatural" directing debut, though he's been with the show since... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/05/supernaturals-ben-edlund-castiels-betrayal-is-going-to-hurt-dean-deeply.html

'Supernatural' preview: Could Castiel and Crowley kill Sam and Dean?

Friday's "Supernatural" episode saw the Mother of All meet her demise, and dropped a shocking bomb on us: Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) are working together. This was especially surprising given the part where we all thought we'd watched Castiel roast Crowley without blinking an eye.In this week's May 6 episode, we'll finally see some explanation for Castiel's desperate actions throughout the season. He's spent a lot of the season battling his angel brethren for control of Heaven, and that battle is about to come crashing back to earth. Executive producer Bob Singer tells Zap2it, "We always thought that a war in heaven is best told off screen, but you're going to see a lot of Castiel dealing with his problems coming up. The last run of episodes is very Castiel-heavy. There's some very interesting stuff that we're doing with him. His problem in Heaven will certainly be impacted by Sam and Dean."In... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/05/supernatural-preview-could-castiel-and-crowley-kill-sam-and-dean.html

Supernatural Season Finale Spoiler: What About Sam?

During the first hour of Supernatural 's May 20 season finale, Dean will face his fears. This we already know. But what about a certain other Winchester sibling? Producer Sera Gamble says her show will go out with a "bang" in a few weeks, detailing to EW how hour number-two will focus on Sam, specifically how the wall in his mind that protects Sam from his worst memories comes down. "You see Sam in a state he’s never been in before pretty much at the top of the episode," Gamble says. "Structurally, he does a couple of pretty interesting things."
