Supernatural Season 11 ended with half of what fans are longing for. That is for the Winchesters to finally meet their mother, Mary. But that was basically impossible, since Mary was dead. She died in the pilot episode of the whole series. So, now that she is back, will it be a good thing? It cannot be helped when fans of the series are rather always in doubt when a certain character comes back to life. Sam and Dean’s grandfather Samuel came back, and that was basically a trap. So, it could also be possible that Mary is another trap for something big. To recap, Season 11 focused on God’s sickness. Fans knew the beginning of everything (Supernatural style). They also knew that God had a sister that He had locked away for billions of years. But of course, it showed that it was still possible to mend things. This is especially within the family. The Winchester brothers just won another war! Supernatural came out victorious in Entertainment Weekly 's Fall TV cover battle, beating 63 other new and returning fall shows including The Big Bang Theory , Gilmore Girls and Arrow . The cover features lead stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who play Sam and Dean respectively, as well as Baby, the 1967 Chevy Impala the brothers have been driving since the beginning.
