Watch a sneak peek and check out photos of the upcoming episode of SUPERNATURAL Season 6 Episode 15 titled "The French Mistake" which airs on Friday February 25 at 9pm on The CW.  Episode Synopsis: SUPERNATURAL "The French Mistake" Season 6 Episode 15 – SAM AND DEAN ARE TRANSPORTED TO AN ALTERNATE REALITY – Raphael (guest star Lanette Ware) launches an attack on Castiel (Misha Collins) and his allies, sending a particularly frightening angelic hitman (guest star Carlos Sanz) after Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche), Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). 'Supernatural' Preview: 5 Reasons Why You Can't Miss Friday's Meta-Filled Episode

Few shows are quite as willing to poke fun at themselves as the CW's 'Supernatural,' which has tackled everything from turning its characters into the heroes of a pulpy (and little-read) book series, to sending them to a spooky fan convention. But after six seasons of self-referential madness, writer Ben Edlund seems to have decided that he's sick of "scratching" at the fourth wall, and would rather take a sledgehammer to it instead. What results is 'The French Mistake,' one of the most surreal, unpredictable and undeniably hilarious episodes that the show has ever produced -- and if you've seen 'Changing Channels' or 'Tall Tales,' you know that's quite a feat. TV Squad was lucky enough to see an advanced screener of this Friday's meta-tastic episode, and we've somehow managed to whittle down an hour of memorable moments into a list of five reasons why this episode is not to be missed. Proceed with caution, though; there are mild spoilers ahead. http://www.tvsquad.com/2011/02/23/supernatural-french-mistake-preview/

Supernatural Meta Sneak Peek: Sam & Dean Go Behind the Scenes of 'Supernatural'

Sam and Dean get transported by Balthazar into an alternate universe where they are forced to act like Jared and Jensen, the actors who play them on a show called Supernatural .  Non-regular fans of the show are probably scratching their heads and going "huh?", while others may be saying "no, seriously, isn't that a fanfic plot?" Trust me, people, it works.  Maybe only on Supernatural , but it works.  In the clip below, Sam and Dean take a brief stroll behind the scenes of the Supernatural set while Sam explains his theory on where they are.  I love the whole "apparently not many people watch our show" line from Jared.  Is there any other show that can make fun of itself as well as Supernatural does?  Dean, naturally, is just pissed that some poor girl put makeup on him and the fact that his beloved Impala is but one of many props. Supernatural Meta Episode Sneak Peek: The Funniest Thing...Ever?

Oh Lord.  I have no doubt that the February 25 meta episode of Supernatural - where Sam and Dean find themselves playing the actors who actually play them - is going to funny.  To back this up, I'd like to present to you exhibit A: the video below. TV Line first released this trailer that The CW will likely release next week to promote the upcoming meta episode, entitled "The French Mistake".  In some respects, it's reminiscent of both "Hollywood Babylon" and the other self-referential episodes the show has done (such as "The Monster at the End of This Book" and "The Real Ghostbusters").  The trailer shows us Sam and Dean being forced to act like Jensen and Jared (or, as Sam says: "a Jared Padalecki").  It's all so dramatic with the voice-over guy that you can't help but laugh as the boys are thrown into walls while dangling from wires and Dean freaks out when they smear makeup on his face. 'Supernatural' Sneak Peek at Genevieve Cortese Padalecki's awkward Sam smooch

Poor Sam Winchester. It's got to be rough to wake up in an alternate universe where you're happily married to the demon who destroyed your life. And the world. In these first look stills from "The French Mistake," the "Supernatural" episode airing Friday, Feb 25, things get awkward when Balthazar tries to protect the Winchesters by dropping them into a world where they're known as Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, actors on a TV show called "Supernatural."Meta, much? Yes.Genevieve Padalecki, Padalecki's real-life wife and former co-star, plays a fictionalized version of herself in the episode... and it looks like Sam isn't too keen on locking lips with the woman who looks exactly like Ruby. We're just wondering what "Genevieve" is going to think of "Jared's" impending freak-out.Elsewhere in this strange world, a guy who looks an awful lot like Castiel but calls himself Misha Collins is desperately in need of a Twittervention... and isn't quite prepared... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/02/supernatural-sneak-peek-at-genevieve-cortese-padaleckis-awkward-sam-smooch.html
