Survivor's Jeff Probst: How I Would Win the Game

The finale of Survivor: South Pacific airs this Sunday, and in reflecting on the season, we're feeling like the franchise is getting a bit stale. So we began to imagine what a "Celebrity" Survivor would be like. Would it be the train wreck that I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here so quickly became? Or perhaps it would have a more successful run, like Donald Trump 's Celebrity Apprentice , now approaching its sixth season. Either way, we'd want to see Jeff Probst in the competition, rather than hosting it — and then, we'd place our bets on him. Survivor's Cochran: People Come Up To Me and Tell Me I’m Annoying

John Cochran perhaps was the most awkward contestant out of the more than 300 ever to compete on  Survivor . The Harvard law student arrived on the island so pale that he appeared translucent. He weighed 138 pounds, sported a nerdy sweater-vest and glasses, and used words his teammates could barely comprehend. But then Cochran made one of the biggest moves in the game's history, and everything changed. When the tribes merged during the show's eighth episode, he threw loyalty to the wind, and joined forces with the opposing team. Ultimately, the risky move probably cost him a hefty $1 million (he was sent home Wednesday night), but Cochran says it was never about the money anyway. "First and foremost I'm a fan of  Survivor . In high school I wrote a  Survivor  newsletter and wore buffs to school," he says. "And when I found out I had made it on the show...it was unbelievable!" The 24-year-old chatted with TVGuide.com about his "bromance" with Coach, who he wants to win, and an experience he describes as the most "surreal moment of my life." 'Survivor: South Pacific's' John Cochran: 'I felt on the outs. I didn't feel bullied'

John Cochran was voted off "Survivor: South Pacific," which for him, even after not winning, was a literal dream he come true, he tells Zap2it.You obviously were so grateful last night for the experience of being on the show. It is still just a dream come true?"Absolutely, like literally a dream come true. I can't tell you how many dreams I've had about playing 'Survivor.' Being on the beach, seeing Jeff, going to the challenges, even the horrible challenges, it was all dream-like. It still feel like it was a dream."Some of the Savaii members took issue with how they were characterized. The editing showed them being pretty mean to me at times and the word "bullied' was thrown out. What do you think of the characterization?""I don't think anybody's a bully. I don't think I was bullied. I think there was a level of some disrespect and condescension and me feeling on the outs.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/survivor-south-pacifics-john-cochran-i-felt-on-the-outs-i-didnt-feel-bullied.html
