TV ratings: 2012 NBA Finals Game 5 crushes Justin Bieber special

Fast national ratings for Thursday, June 21, 2012ABC's final broadcast of the 2012 NBA Finals beat the other networks in ratings just like the Miami Heat crushed the Oklahoma City Thunder for a championship ring. Game 5 of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and co. angling for a title won the night for ABC, averaging 12.9 million viewers for the night and a 7.8 rating/14 household share.CBS' standard summer rerun fare still performed solidly, averaging 7 million viewers (4.5/8), with FOX coming in third (3.7 million, 2.3/4), NBC coming in fourth (3.2 million, 2.2/4) and The CW rounding out the night with an average of 770,000 viewers (0.5/1).The number isn't 100 percent accurate for the basketball game because Nielsen measures by time period, not by show, but an updated number should be released soon.ABC also won in the adults 18-49 demo with a 5.3, followed by CBS's 1.5, FOX's 1.3, NBC's 0.7 and The CW's 0.3.Thursday... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/tv-ratings-2012-nba-finals-game-5-crushes-justin-bieber-special.html

'Take Me Out': George Lopez And The 'Flirty Thirty'

Because there are always new twists on dating shows, George Lopez introduced America to " Take Me Out " (Thu., 8 p.m. ET on Fox), featuring the "Flirty Thirty" and random men parading around in front of them trying to get their attention. Think of peacocks strutting their stuff and displaying their plumage. In the case of one bachelor, that plumage included a shiny silver Speedo and some incredibly awkward "dance" moves. The premise of the show has the thirty women turn off their lights if they decide they're not interested. In this guy's case, every podium went dark. After they strut for a bit, and if there are any lights still on, the guys head over to chat it up with George Lopez. If, after all the sharing is over, there are any lights remaining on, the guy gets to pick a lady from those still interested. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer acknowledges the cheesiness of the show, but declares they'll be watching it anyway. Summer is often about fluff on television, and this is just the kind of silliness that could wile away those warm summer evenings. See what the guys do next to impress on "Take Me Out," Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser. http://feeds.huffingtonpost.com/~r/HP/Entertainment/~3/iE9O_1NrYDg/take-me-out-george-lopez-flirty-thirty-dating-show-video_n_1579830.html
