Robson goes hikes through empty moorland to Wark Forest looking for of a bed for the night. He ends up setting up camp in a ramshackle farmhouse used as refuge huts for walkers. The next day he meets a young woman who has taken on the challenge of running one of the most remote farms in England. He then pays a visit to Kielder Observatory, which gives visitors the opportunity to see incredible sights such as Saturn and the northern lights.
