The Bachelorette': Millennials Are Fleeing Rachel Lindsays Season

Forget lame suitors like Lucas, it is millennials who are truly failing Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay. In the 18-34 demographics TV ratings, The Bachelorette is down 24 percent year over year, with a 1.9 versus last summers 2.5. Among men of that age range, the decline is an even 25 percent, with women clocking in at minus 22 percent. That means those born between 1983 and 1999 are departing the ABC series more than any other age range, right as we finally got our first African-American Bachelorette. So much for our most progressive generation.   ...Read More... https://www.thewrap.com/bachelorette-rachel-lindsay-ratings-millennials/

Shade Alert! Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Takes on Lee, Will, and More on Twitter

We knew Rachel Lindsay was a perceptive gal, but with how long Lee Garrett stuck around on Bachelorette 2017 — five-plus episodes! — we were starting to worry. Luckily, she sent the ignorant country boy packing at the start of Episode 6, and judging by her tweets during the ep, she’d been keenly aware of his true nature for some time. In fact, the lawyer went in on more than one of her Season 13 contestants on Twitter last night!   ...Read More... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/8JNFUUJNooI/

Why 'Bachelorette' Contestant Kenny Should Be the Next 'Bachelor'

Kenny might have survived his two-on-one date with Lee and Rachel on The Bachelorette but it wasn't an extended reprieve. Rachel sent Kenny home on the next group date, recognizing that there was no romantic future for them and that he needed to get back to his daughter. It was a sad moment but an inevitable one as there didn't seem to be many sparks between Rachel and Kenny. Yet while Kenny's time with Rachel didn't work out, it shouldn't be the last time Bachelor Nation sees him on TV. Kenny would make the perfect new lead for The Bachelor .   ...Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/the-bachelorette/why-bachelorette-contestant-ke-65210.aspx

'Bachelorette' Contestant Peter Kraus on Possibly Becoming the Next 'Bachelor' Star: 'Rachel's Definitely My Focus'

Peter Kraus may be one of Rachel Lindsay's front runners on The Bachelorette but there's no denying he's also a pretty good contender to be The Bachelor 's next leading man. Asked whether he would sign up to hand out roses next season if he doesn't end up with Lindsay, the 31-year-old Wisconsin native says he'd rather focus on his relationship with the 32-year-old attorney.   ...Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/the-bachelorette/bachelorette-contestant-peter-65204.aspx

The Bachelorette: Rachel Is an Emotional Viking

This episode of The Bachelorette was all about whittling down. Six guys got sent home, and unlike in previous weeks, we knew them all pretty well. We may have mostly forgotten Anthony's 1-on-1 date, but when we remembered it, we remembered liking Anthony. Things are getting tough for Rachel now,  ...Read More... http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-bachelorette-rachel-episode-6-recap/?rss=breakingnews

Is Bryan Abasolo Too Good to Be True on Bachelorette 2017?

There’s such a thing as too smooth, and we’re worrying Bryan Abasolo might be just that. The Bachelorette 2017 contestant has been a frontrunner since night one when he received Rachel Lindsay’s First Impression Rose — after giving her one of the most intense kisses in franchise history. But in last night’s Episode 5, the Bachelorette worried the Miami native might be “too good to be true,” spurring fans to think the same. ...Read More... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/H7euv_KdIEo/

Rachel Lindsay & More React to All the Race Talk on Bachelorette Last Night

Last night’s Bachelorette 2017 Episode 5 broached the race topic a number of times — to varying degrees of success. On the upside, we had Will Gaskins schooling Lee Garrett on why his use of the term “aggressive” to describe fellow black contestant Kenny King is not OK. On the downside, we watched the (alleged racist) singer-songwriter stick around and go head-to-head for Rachel Lindsay’s heart in a racially-charged 2-on-1 with Kenny. ...Read More... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/FOon0E7VN0E/
