The Challenge: The Inferno II poster
The Inferno II is the tenth season of Real World/Road Rules Challenge and the sequel to The Inferno. The show aired in 2005, and took place in Manzanillo, Mexico. This challenge was the same as The Inferno, except this time each team was allowed to choose only one "Inferno nominee" from the opposite team. This nominee had to win the "life shield" to save him or herself. The contestants in this challenge were grouped into two teams of "Good Guys" and "Bad Asses", representing the "heroes" and "villains" of their respective seasons.

This season gave the feel and impression that it was a new dawn for The Challenge as a whole as they dropped the long rivalry between The Real World and Road Rules and mixed them together into teams divided by Good Guys and Bad Asses. This was a very entertaining season due to the fact that both teams had stacked teams for the most part. The Bad Asses had Derrick "The Pitbull" Kosinski, Abram "The Lion" Boise and CT, 3 very tough male players and Rachel Robinson, Veronica, Tina and Tonya as 4 of the strongest female players. The Good Guys had Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, Darrell "D" Taylor, Brad "B-Rad" Fiorenza, 3 proven powerfull Challenge competitors and entering The Challenge for the first time, Landon "Lando Commando" Lueck, possibly the strongest all-around player in challenge history. As for their girls, they had Jodi Weatherton, Robin Hibbard, Julie Stofer and Jamie Banks(She later became an actress and starred in Hangover 2 and Dragonball Evolution as ChiChi), 4 very strong female players. All these incredible players made for a very close and competitive challenge where they truly tested each other's strengths and proved themselves, earning many of them high reputation for future challenges. Beth was also in this Challenge as the only one causing drama as usual and giving a less than stellar performance This season is definitely one of the better ones and completely worth the watch.
