The Family is a reality television series that aired on ABC spanning one season in 2003. It starred ten members from an Italian-American family, who were each fighting for a $1,000,000 prize.
The Family gets the chance to vote back in one member, to take on Cousin Mike. Anthony is voted back into the game. Cousins Mike and Anthony must first identify three of five gourmet dishes. If they do, they only have to eat the three dishes they identify. If they do not, they must eat all five dishes. Then, they must dive into a pool and bring up tiles with the first and last names of the Staff, and assemble the names in the correct order. Finally, they must successfully answer a True/False quiz about each other. The winner gets a distinct advantage in Part 2 of the finals. Winner: Cousin Mike Cousin Anthony is brought in front of three safes, and Cousin Mike is placed behind them. Anthony then gets to open each safe, and see which one contains the milion dollars. Mike then gets to ask Anthony two questions, and then gets two guesses at which safe holds the money. If he is wrong, Anthony gets the money. The winner then gets sequstered for the night and must decided if they want all the money, or to split it evenly among the family.
After Aunt Donna, Cousin Anthony and Uncle Michael arrive at the mansion, the wait to see which other family members are to arrive at the mansion, as this is the first time it is revealed. After meets and greets and some house lounging, the family plays its first game, everyone takes a prize box and has a chance to win whatever is inside, such as a vacation, entertainment center and a harley. When it is a members turn, they have a decision to make, eliminate another member from the game, swap gifts with any family member resulting in elimination of that member, or sacrifice yourself and leave the game. Cousin Robert won the game and the entertainment center. After a crazy dinner, the family rested the night and went to a fine art auction, containing painted photos of themselves. They were to bid on each painting with money from the million dollar pot, and the two peoples paintings that got the highest bids would go up against the board of trustees for elimination. The family spent $85,000 from the pot, but George said he would take care of it and ripped up the check. Cousin robert and Mike went up against the board of trustees, where only one came out...
