TV ratings: Giants-Eagles leads Sunday, American Music Awards solid for ABC

Fast national ratings for Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011NBC claimed its usual spot atop the ratings Sunday with its NFL coverage, but the game didn't steal viewers the American Music Awards on ABC. The awards were up a little bit in viewers compared to last year's show and held steady in adults 18-49.Thanks to "Sunday Night Football," NBC topped the night with 14.8 million viewers and a 9.2 rating/14 share in households. CBS, which also had NFL games bleed into primetime, grabbed second with 11.9 million viewers and a 7.4/11. (Because of their live sports coverage, both networks' numbers may change some.) ABC (10.1 million, 5.8/9) finished third, and FOX was pretty far off the pace with 4.6 million viewers and a 2.7/4.NBC led the adults 18-49 demographic as well, drawing a 5.5 rating in primetime. ABC finished second with a 3.5. CBS' 2.8 was good for third, beating out FOX's 2.2.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/11/tv-ratings-giants-eagles-leads-sunday-american-music-awards-solid-for-abc.html

The Good Wife Promo: Michael J. Fox Returns in Episode 3.10

In this week's episode of The Good Wife , Alicia and Will returned to military court to defend a solider responsible for manning drones.  They came up against the same hard-nosed military judge (Leora Kuhn) they had faced in a previous episode. Meanwhile, Eli and Diane testified in front of a government tribunal about the USDA food pyramid.  Eli continued to represent the interest of their client, the cheese lobby, but had to face Stacie Hall, his new lobbyist rival. Dana Lodge continued to grow closer to Kalinda, while secretly sleeping with Carey.  Alicia also discovered that Jackie was snooping around her apartment and laptop and warned her children that she wanted to create more boundaries for Jackie. Peter hired Wendy Scott-Carr to aid in the investigation of Will Gardner.  Wendy isn't that anxious to go after Will just to get his drug-dealing client.  She actually wants to take Will himself down.  She met with Diane and told her that the State's Attorney was investigating Will for a gambling and bribery ring.  Diane confronted Will about the investigation and said that it was ramping up, not winding down.  She told him to stop sleeping with Alicia and warned him that Peter is clearly targeting him because of the affair.  And even if he wasn't, Will is Alicia's boss and the whole situation is wrong. The Good Wife is on hiatus next week, but a new episode will air on December 4.  The tense situation of the episode centers around Alicia and Peter's daughter, Grace, going missing.  Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter makes a guest appearance as Alicia's newest client.  Michael J. Fox returns as Louis Canning, who comes up against Alicia in a routine arbitration that turns into a battle of wills.  But when a personal crisis interrupts the arbitration, will Louis and Alicia find they have more in common than they thought? Jennifer Carpenter on The Good Wife

There are no guns in sight and nary a cuss word to be heard when Jennifer Carpenter — best known as Dexter 's foulmouthed cop sister Debra — guest stars as a religious Republican professor on the December 4 episode of CBS' The Good Wife . http://www.tvguide.com/News/Jennifer-Carpenter-The-Good-Wife-1039721.aspx?rss=breakingnews

The Good Wife Teaser: Diane Knows!

Even The Good Wife can produce an uneven, subpar episode. Such was the case with this week's " Death Row Trip ." But I'm already excited over net week's "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot," partly because that is one awesome episode title. But also because the installment will feature Diane confronting Will over his affair with Alicia. Look for one partner to issue an ultimatum to the other in order to protect the firm. Elsewhere, as previewed below, Eli's confidence will get shaken and Alicia and Will will try a case in front of a military judge. http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/11/the-good-wife-teaser-diane-knows/

Fresh off an episode centered around terrorism , The Good Wife will dive right back into another contentious topic this Sunday night: death row. TV ratings: 'Once Upon a Time' solid again Sunday, NFL scores for NBC

Fast national ratings for Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011"Once Upon a Time" is proving to be a very consistent performer early in its life on ABC. The show posted solid ratings for the third week in a row Sunday, beating everything that wasn't the Ravens-Steelers game in its timeslot. The news wasn't as good for the rest of ABC's lineup, though, as "Desperate Housewives" was off a bit from last week and "Pan Am" was flat in adults 18-49 and down a tick in viewers.Elsewhere, "Sunday Night Football" gave NBC another victory for the night, while FOX also got a bump from NFL games bleeding into primetime -- although "Allen Gregory" continued to struggle. CBS was its usual steady self.Network numbers coming shortly.
