TV ratings: 'Mixology' opens modestly Wednesday, 'Chicago PD' scores a series high

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014The premiere of ABC's comedy "Mixology" was the ratings equivalent of a well drink Wednesday: It got the job done, but it was by no means great. The show opened well below where "Super Fun Night" did in the fall and also retained less of its "Modern Family" lead-in than the "SFN" premiere. Elsewhere Wednesday, a crossover with "Law & Order: SVU" pushed "Chicago PD" to a series high in adults 18-49. "American Idol" was even with last week for FOX, and the premiere of "Survivor: Cagayan" improved on last spring's debut and was about even with the start of the fall cycle. "Arrow" was also fairly stedy for The CW.FOX led the night with 10.6 million viewers and a 6.6 rating/10 share in households, beating out FOX's 9.7 million and 6.1/10. NBC (6.8 million, 4.4/7) came in third, followed by ABC (5.9 million, 3.9/6).
