Ugh, this makes me sad -- and what miserable timing!

Really. And while I know it's not "news," it would have been nice to push it forward through the election. Is money that big an issue at Viacom?

Really with the elections so near, it would have been nice to have some important news with comedy.

I understand a network's need to cancel low-performing shows, but it's pretty terrible to cancel a 250-episode show with only a week's notice. And how expensive could the Nightly Show possibly be?

I adore The Nightly Show's mix of diverse comedic talents to look at the news cycle in a completely original manner. Mike Yard, Rory Albanese, and Larry Wilmore made a compelling and hilarious mix. It seems Comedy Central is afraid of humor that's slanted in favor of the poor and the disenfranchised while simultaneously sticking a whoopee cushion under every elected official's cushion. A poor call. This show was wonderful!

I wonder how much Bill Cosby paid Comedy Central to cancel it?

Wilmore did a great job of what he did...I think it would have been better as a weekly show, instead of nightly.
