The course of true love never runs smooth, and that's especially true in Essex. It seems like almost everybody is having relationship drama of some kind at the moment, so let's take a moment to assess the current status of our various couples... Lockie and Danielle seem like they're in a good place – they've progressed from daytime to night-time dates, with the help of a lobster called Bob. But can they move forward when James is so concerned with the past? He wants Danielle to take responsibility for her part in the break up, but she just wants him to think of the future. He says that she's part of his future “at the moment”, but we're not predicting wedding bells just yet... One couple that's definitely going nowhere is Nicole and Lewis. He hasn't apologised for what he said to her, but is there someone else he should be saying sorry to? Poor old Pete – fresh from his invigorating naked sauna - thought that everything was going well with Jess, until Lewis confessed that he'd kissed her after the vineyard shutdown. And this after Pete had bought Lewis a beer. No wonder he was angry – did you see the veins in his neck throbbing?! It's not just the couples that are on the rocks – relations between Ferne and Chloe L are frostier than the icing on little Madison's birthday cake. There's been no love lost ever since Ferne drunkenly told Chloe she was “boring” and “monosyllabic” - a word which is ironically very hard to pronounce. But at least Ferne is getting on better with Liam these days – she'll probably never know how what he'd do for her birthday, but at least they've had a hug and agreed to be friends. It was a good day all round for the man they call Gatsby – his Diwali party went down a storm, the highlight being his collaboration with Arg for a performance of 21 Seconds. Thank goodness Arg was able to provide Liam with the chicken wings, 17.7 degree air-con and gold-plated microphone he required. Everyone enjoyed what Georgia described as “a celebration of Indian food”, even if Nanny Pat did prefer to hand around the cough candies... With so much still up in the air for all our favourite Essex boys and girls, only one thing's for sure – you don't want to miss the series finale on Wednesday!
