Family Guy and The Simpsons to Crossover in 2014

Springfield may never be the same; Fox has announced The Simpsons‘ iconic town will be visited by the Family Guy‘s Griffins in a crossover episode. The crossover will take place in a Family Guy episode titled "The Simpsons Guy," but the Griffins will be on The Simpsons‘ turf when they arrive in Springfield and are greeted by a friendly Homer (guest voice Dan Castellaneta) who happily welcomes his new "albino" friends to town. The episode will find both family’s bonding as Stewie (MacFarlane) nurses an obsession with Bart (guest voice Nancy Cartwright), Lisa (guest voice Yeardley Smith) attempts to find Meg’s (Mila Kunis) hidden talent, Marge (guest voice Julie Kavner) and Lois (Alex Borstein) indulge in some wife bonding, and Peter and Homer fight over which is the best beer in town: Pawtucket vs Duff. 'The Simpsons': Daniel Radcliffe to guest

Good news: Daniel Radcliffe will make his return to a beloved franchise! Nope, not that one. The Harry Potter star has recorded another role for The Simpsons. In an episode airing this coming season, Bart will encounter Diggs (Radcliffe), a strange older boy with a passion for falconry, among other things. "Diggs is a combination of Holden Caulfield, Finny from A Separate Peace and the kids in Lord of the Flies — only a little more screwed up," executive producer Al Jean tells EW. READ MORE...

FOX fall TV 2013 premiere dates: 'New Girl' Season 3, 'Bones' Season 9 and more start a little early

FOX has announced premiere dates for its fall schedule, and as usual the network will launch its series both earlier and later than the other networks.Four nights of programming and shows including "Bones," "Glee," "New Girl" and "The X Factor" will premiere before the official start of the 2013-14 season on Sept. 23. That will help those shows get a decent run of episodes in before postseason baseball puts them on the shelf for a while in October. The network is also saving a few of its premieres for after the World Series. Futuristic cop show "Almost Human" won't debut until Nov. 4, and comedies "Raising Hope" and "Enlisted" are set for Nov. 8. ‘Up All Night’ actor Will Arnett has booked a guest role on Fox’s The Simpsons. According to TV Line, Arnett will voice the enemy of Homer Simpson in the show’s forthcoming 25th season of the animated comedy. Arnett will play the role of Detective Gratman, who is described as the FBI’s top anti-piracy agent who sets his eyes on Homer, tracking down the family patriarch after he is thought to have downloaded illegal movies on the internet. Fast National ratings for Sunday, June 2, 2013The broadcast networks went with nearly wall-to-wall reruns on Sunday, with "60 Minutes" and a concert special on NBC the only original offerings. The ratings reflected that, as only CBS managed to draw more than 3 million viewers and FOX, led by "Family Guy," was the only network to get above a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49.CBS averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 3.5 rating/6 share in households in primetime. 'The Simpsons' come to Florida: Universal Studios is building Springfield

Universal Studios has announced that it will recreate the "Simpsons" hometown of Springfield in its Orlando theme park. And everything from Krusty burgers to Duff beer will be available to fans of the long-running animated series.Finally confirming rumors that Universal was planning this project, the Studios announced on Thursday (May 23) that the area around the Simpsons ride in Orlando would be rebuilt to mimic the streets of Springfield. Landmarks of the real-life town will include Moe's Tavern, a Lard Lad donut shop and a Krusty Burger. As for attractions, Universal plans a new one with a Kang & Kodos theme.Not announced yet but hopefully a part of the project are such places as the nuclear power plant, the Burns mansion and of course the Simpsons' own house.Universal Orlando already has one dedicated theme area: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
