It took me 28 seasons to realize it but I care more about the Simpsons than the writers do. In this episode they bring back Krusty's daughter, a very sweet callback to an episode from more than a decade ago. Unfortunately, they couldn't bother with continuity. Her whole schtick was that she played the violin, that is what the whole episode with her was about. Krusty gambles away her violin to the mob, and she's devastated. But when given the chance to reference her musical abilities, which the writers went out of their way to include in this most recent episode, she plays the french horn. It's a small thing I know, but it shattered my decades long delusion that these writers care at all about world building.
