It's dark and heartbreaking at times but highly addictive. The awkward chemistry between the two leads is charming and fun. They touch a lot of current subjects like the political development in france, the refugee crisis and religious intolerance. It feels far more real than most other crime shows. Real police work is key not miraculous 5 second DNA tests.

Having enjoyed The Bridge in both its original and US forms, I was captivated by the Anglo-French version set obviously in the Channel Tunnel. Its leading stars were excellent considering Poésy played Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and Dillane stars as Stannis Baratheon in Game of Thrones. Gripping, thrilling and making you want to keep watching. I look forward to the potential second season should one be produced and aired in the near future.
