There's a lot of trouble in the love triangles of Mystic Falls. Now that Damon and Stefan have been freed (temporarily) from the hells created for them by the Phoenix Stone, we can finally refocus our attention on their love lives for a bit. Specifically, let's go Pulp Fiction and talk about the Bonnie situation. We know that Bonnie ends up with Enzo later on down the road (via a flash forward scene), but why are there so much clear chemistry between her and Damon? Let's discuss this and who Bonnie should truly be with. Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/the-vampire-diaries/the-vampire-diaries-poll-who-s-58800.aspx
The cure to vampirism has resurfaced on The Vampire Diaries , but will Elena take it as part of her exit from the series? All signs point to yes. I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm amazed at how good The Vampire Diaries is at shocking me. It's happened many times, but at the end of "The Last Day," when Klaus turned Aunt Jenna into a vampire to use her for the Sacrifice, I may have been as shocked as I've ever been watching this show. We knew Klaus was a bad guy who enjoyed making people suffer for daring to go against him, but turning Elena's innocent aunt into a monster was not something that I even considered. It also raises a big question: What happens to Aunt Jenna now? http://www.buddytv.com/articles/the-vampire-diaries/the-vampire-diaries-debate-kee-40143.aspx
For all you guys practicing analogies for the SATs: Eric is to Damon as Stefan is to Bill . Eric and Damon totally have that bad guy with a sensitive side thing going on. They’re sarcastic, violent, and in love with their vamp frenemy’s women. Stefan and Bill, on the other hand, are total pansies with a dark side. OK, maybe Bill’s dark side is a bit more deranged, but they’ve both tried to eat their girlfriends. When it comes to being emo, both of these boys get an A+. Bill can’t go five minutes without crying blood tears, and Stefan keeps an entire closet-full of journals. Maybe Bill will get inspired — we can totally see him scribbling, "Dear Diary, today I half-murdered my vampire mother-lover and then drained a hooker." Damon, Stefan, Eric, and Bill obviously have a lot in common, but when it comes down to it, who would you let suck your blood? A couple of bros who love draining innocent teens, or a Civil War vet and a Viking King? It’s up to you! Tyler became a werewolf, two students died, Katherine got locked in a tomb and Elena chose to remain single. Somehow, our critic deemed "Masquerade" to be a slow episode of The Vampire Diaries, despite its inclusion of all these developments. What was your favorite quote/scene from the episode? So The Vampire Diaries decided not to kill off Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig). After revealing Katherine's plan to have him force Tyler to kill him, Caroline stepped in to save Matt's life, though Katherine still had a Plan C (or possibly D) and Tyler still killed someone to turn into a werewolf. While I don't mind Matt being alive, the truth is that there's no real reason for it. More than any other character on The Vampire Diaries , Matt serves no purpose. The only extended storyline he's ever had was a dull relationship with Caroline that ended as soon as she was turned into a vampire and became interesting. But since the show decided to keep him alive, there must be a reason. I've come up with five possible storylines for Matt that could actually make the character interesting and important. This week I’m going to try less semi-amusing recapping and try some more actual reviewing, which is to say that I’ll give an honest review with extra added nicknames. (Oh, Hot Uncle Lockwood, we knew thee so little.) In this week’s episode the gang try to kill Katherine, a plan that only half-works and pushes the plot forward even more than in previous weeks. The Vampire Diaries isn’t a perfect show. It’s not even the best show on television right now, if we judge it by originality and characterization, but it’s probably the best paced and executed. There are no filler moments, everything is done for a reason. To Read More Click Here. What did you think of ‘Masquerade’? Let us know in the comments below!
When vampires and werewolves turn up in the same movie or TV show, a clash is inevitable. But if you had to pick a creature of the night to have your back, would it be True Blood's vampire sheriff Eric or sexy (furry) beast Alcide? Buffy's Angel or Oz? Twilight's Edward or Jacob? Vampire’s Diaries’ Stefan Salvatore or uncle Mason? Whose your Favorite? Discuss below Source Here
The season two premiere of Vampire Diaries blew me away, that at the end I had to ask myself, is this show better than Twilight? In the first season of Vampire Diaries I couldn't help but try to look for similarities between the show and the Twilight series. In the end I saw that in some instances there were, and in others it was completely compelling and captivating in its own way. With that said, I have to comment on the first episode of the new season, and all I can say is KATHERINE IS A TRUE BAD ASS!!!, and I can't help but love it. When the episode started I didn't know what to expect, because all we knew about Katherine was that she turned Stefan and Damon into vampires, she had a remarkable resemblance to Elana, she sliced off Elana's fathers fingers and stabbed him in the finale of the first season, and a lot of other minute details. However as the episode progressed the character Katherine really pulled me into the show, and brought me to brink of anticipation for the next episode and for the rest of the season. I loved a few facts about the episode, I loved the fact that Katherine has yet to encounter Elana and vice versa, Katherine's heavily going after Stefan, Jeremy is not a vampire, Damon's heart or lack there of is wounded by both Elana and Katherine(the reason i like this fact is that it just adds a whole other dynamic to the show, and helps to make new and captivating episodes) though i can't help but feel sorry for him, and that Ian Somerholder (Damon) was extremely SMOKING HOTTT!!!! The entire episode was phenomenal and a KICK-ASS season opener, but there's one thing that has me conflicted, can I really say that Vampire Diaries is better than Twilight? -my answer: HELL YEAH :)
