As the battles commence, the premise is simple: one song - two voices - one winner, as coaches will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson choose the artists they want to take to the knockouts. Each battle sees two artists from the same team compete against each other in a vocal showdown. After each battle, the artists' own coach must decide who will progress to the knockout stage - and who will be sent home.
