The Walking Dead Sneak Peek: Rick Pleads with Hershel in Episode 2.07

The Walking Dead  is nearing the end of the first half of its second season, and things between the survivors and Hershel look like they'll be coming to a head in Sunday's episode "Pretty Much Dead Already," the midseason finale. Relations between Hershel and the group have always been strained. Very much an isolationist, Hershel views Rick and his group as unwelcome hazards, especially after they find out about his barn, which houses the zombified versions of his family and friends. Hershel has made it clear to Rick that he wants them gone from his farm soon -- and in this promo for "Pretty Much Dead Already," he establishes a deadline: the end of the week. We can't imagine that this flies well with anyone but Hershel -- after all, Maggie and Glenn are getting pretty close this season, while the rest of the farm's inhabitants seem to be good-willed toward the survivors (even Patricia, who isn't aware that Shane killed her husband, Otis). 'The Walking Dead': Glenn takes down a walker, rescues Maggie, pretty much rocks

For use on external sites w/exclusive video premieres. brightcove.createExperiences(); As Maggie (Lauren Cohan) says in Sunday's (Nov. 20) episode of "The Walking Dead," "Secrets," Glenn (Steven Yeun) has the skills it takes to be a leader. He's the go-to guy for runs into zombie infested territory and he takes on every high risk mission without complaint. So it wasn't much of a surprise when he ended up making another run into undead-infested territory to get something for someone else -- in this case, Lori. When a walker unexpectedly turned up while he and Maggie were on a pharmacy run (so not like their first visit!), well, he picked up a metal shelf and mostly decapitated the zombie before any harm could come to his kind-of new girlfriend. In one of the most talked about scenes from Sunday's show, seen online first here at Zap2it (above), watch as Glenn takes matters into his own hands.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/11/the-walking-dead-glen-takes-down-a-walker-rescues-maggie-pretty-much-rocks.html

'The Walking Dead' sneak peek: Shane's strategy backfires -- or does it?

The nice thing about a zombie-pocalypse is that it really frees up time for hobbies. Target practice, for instance. On Sunday's (Nov. 20) "The Walking Dead," the gang breaks out the arsenal for a little lesson in gunplay. Andrea (Laurie Holden), who turns out to be a crackerjack shot (hey, she nailed Daryl from at least 100 yards away last week), hangs around for a little advanced training from Shane (Jon Bernthal). She's having a little trouble, though, hitting a moving target -- not a zombie, just a log hanging from a tree."That's the walker who got Amy, now you shoot that son of a b****," says Shane, by way of motivation. He's referring, of course, to Andrea's younger sister, who bit it -- or, rather, was bit -- in season 1. Andrea ended up having to shoot her in the head at close range. Shane's strategy backfires. But we're sensing a certain "tension" here.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/11/the-walking-dead-sneak-peek-shanes-strategy-backfires----or-does-it.html

'Walking Dead' Thanksgiving marathon: Give thanks for gore!

'The Walking Dead's' Robert Kirkman: More new characters, including Michonne, in the works

If Robert Kirkman's excited, we're excited. About "The Walking Dead," that is.Think of Kirkman as the man behind the curtain of the great zombie empire that is "The Walking Dead." He started writing the comic books back in 2003 and in 2010 helped adapt the story into AMC's most-watched series to date, which is now in its second season and already greenlit for a third."We're very excited for the third season because there's a lot of really cool stuff coming up in the story line that is going to be a lot of fun to adapt," Kirkman tells Zap2it.But first, there's the rest of season 2 to get through. The 13 episode run will be taking a mid-season break after the seventh episode airs on Nov 27."[I]t is a bigger episode and there are some loose ends tied up, but I wouldn't want to say what just yet," says Kirkman, who hints that we may... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/11/the-walking-deads-robert-kirkman-more-new-characters-including-michonne-in-the-works.html
