Fox has ordered 10 new episodes of the revived series; filming begins this summer.
Nice! Took them long enough to order it.
This is a crazy decision. I hope they bring on different writers than the last season, which was pretty dumb, IMO. I hope this new iteration has Robbie Amell as a recurring character.
The truth is out there.... still. I see the 1st season of the revived show as a warm up; with writers, actors and crew getting 'back' into the flow of producing the X-Files again. I hope that the next series goes back to the grass roots of what X-Files is all about, staying faithful to the show and genre. **crosses fingers**
The beginning of the 1st season was tired at best and the next episodes were a bit uneven, but staying away from that world for so long must have taken getting used to, so it's completely understandable. Hopefully the next season will be better, but even if it isn't, X-Files is still addictive as hell. I'm going to finish watching it whatever happens.
Noooooooo, why?!? You guys, come on.
Loved every single one of the 6 episodes last year, really looking forward to 10 more.
Sounds good to me -- maybe. I watched all of the first season and mostly enjoyed it. They could very easily fail by giving us too little of Mulder and/or Scully. I suppose it's possible they might be thinking to "pass the torch" to Einstein and Miller, but the (new?) writers will have to be very clever to pull it off, IMO.
