Love the Books, like the show

I am on the third book right now, and the first two were wonderful. I do like the show, but you know how it is when you read something and then watch the movie or show. I am very critical about certain things. The part about Jason and the "V" bothers me, but I guess they have to give him something to do in the series. The Tara character really gets on my nerves and I hope she gets better, but she only shows up about the middle of the second book and I am not even sure it is supposed to be the same person. I really love Lafayette and it is sad that he dies so soon into the second book. My husband is stationed overseas in Iraq and he started watching the series and just loves it. I hope the second season is just as good and I look forward to reading all of the books.

Fellow Vampire Fanatics...a query

Okay so I love True Blood!!!!, and I love the Southern Vampire Series, which it is based on. I have just finished book eight and am need of some more vampire romance novels, does any one have any recomendations?? p.s. after reading the novels i am sooo in love with Eric, more then Bill. However in the show the actor they cast as Bill is perfect!! and so handsome. anyone else feel they same?? lol

Sookie's Cheesey White Dress

Ok, so I really loved episode six. It was so exciting to watch Sookie run out of the house to go meet Bill. But did anyone else have a problem with that dress she was wearing? You know, the white virginal nightgown with the long flowing sleeves. Omg, I was almost chocking with laughter. I thought they were trying to stay away from stereotypes! I don't think anything screams "cheesey old vampire movie" than a girl in a virginal full length white dress offering herself up to her vampire lover. Why did they have to put her in that silly thing!?!?! opinions??

This is a spolier...I know who the killer is , its.....

.................................................................................................................................. ...................................................................................... ........................................................................................... ....................................................................................... its Rene.....Arlene's boyfriend and Jason's friend. He belongs to a fundamentalist church that hates vamps. Also, here's a clue from the show, not the books. Hoyt and Rene knew that Gram was dead even before Jason did! They gave Jason their condolences on his loss, and he didn't even know she was dead. That was a big red flag for me, and made me suspect them immediately. he killed his little sister because she was with a vamp. He killed Maudette and Dawn for the same reason. He kills Sookies Gran because he was waiting for Sookie to return home after the DGD meeting. In the book Jason finds out about his Grandmother and slaps Sookie but, in the show it looks like he chokes her. Bill to the rescue!!! And the plot thickens. Arlene is upset of course and turns to Hoyt for comfort and they both become members of FOTS. And of course thiers another body to be found..dundundun.. in Andy Belfleurs car

Is there an episode 7 promo out yet?

Just curious if they showed a promo for episode 7 after the show. If so, can someone post a link?

For those who have read the books!(spoliers)

We all know how sookie and bills relationship turns out, at least to the point charlaine harris has gotten us. I have heard that Allan Ball is going to base the next season developing their relationship, yes brilliant idea, I wonder though. For those of us who have gotten through book six, the conversation that takes place between bill, sookie, and eric. Im sure you know which one. Do you really think it is a good idea to devote a season to their relationship? I know what is was like for me reading the books, hoping they would be together and than this major revelation. Now I dont even know who to root for, im sure that is what mrs. harris was going for. So my questions, how did you feel about where the books have brought the story, and do you think it is a good idea to devote a season to sookie and bill?
