'True Blood': Who's Tara trying to kill?

Tonight's episode of "True Blood" has newborn vampire Tara (Rutina Wesley) wresting with an age-old question: To be or not to be...a stone-cold killer? Tara's true nature -- and whom she plans to destroy -- are revealed in tonight's "Whatever I Am, You Made Me." Spoilers ahead....Tara takes a bullet for Sookie (Anna Paquin), and Sookie rewards her with everlasting life. So why aren't the two besties toasting each other over glasses of Tru Blood and beer at Merlotte's? Turns out, Tara isn't grateful to Sook, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) or her reluctant maker, Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), for her new lease on life. Instead, after stopping herself from attacking a stranded driver, Tara seeks solace with Sam (Sam Trammell), gets drunk on Tru Blood and then hides out in Sam's walk-in freezer. She doesn't stay cold for long -- girl is hot to die. If an overdose of pills didn't do the job when... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/true-blood-whos-tara-trying-to-kill.html

True Blood Spoilers: Lilith Will Surprise Everyone

What do you say when you meet God?  That's what vampires will face this season on True Blood, when Lilith, the mother of all vampires, appears. Valentina Cervi tells TV Guide that her character, the seductive chancellor Salome, believes Lilith is her own God. "Salome really believes that Lilith is The Goddess, that Lilith is the God that we have to trust, and follow, and believe everything that is written in the Bible is true," she says.  Not everyone thinks that way, including... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/esnMqI7UXDE/true-blood-spoilers-lilith-will-surprise-everyone

True Blood Spoilers: Guess Who's Intrigued By Bill?

Bill Compton is nursing a broken heart after watching his true love, Sookie Stackhouse, run off to have sex with frenemy Eric Northman.  Now, she's dumped them both, and while Eric found comfort in the, uh, arms of his "sister," Nora," Bill still hasn't seen any action. But that may soon change! Seems that Salome, Roman's right-hand vampire at the Authority, may have her eye on the former King of Louisiana. "She's really intrigued by him," Valentina Cervi teases... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/vEUTUToFyJo/true-blood-spoilers-guess-whos-intrigued-by-bill

True Blood's Valentina Cervi on Seductress Salome and Her Love for Bill and Eric

True Blood 's Russell Edgington is on the loose, and apparently, there are only two vamps truly capable of taking him down... again. With the news that the most psychotic vampire is once again free to wreak havoc on the world, The Authority decides to enlist Bill ( Stephen Moyer ) and Eric ( Alexander Skarsgard ) to hunt Russell ( Denis O'Hare ) down. First, however, Roman ( Christopher Meloni ) needs to see if the dynamic duo from Bon Temps can be trusted, which is why he'll turn to his own trusted right-hand vampire, Salome ( Valentina Cervi ), to get the dirt. But whose side is Salome really on? TVGuide.com turned to the Italian actress who portrays her to discuss her new relationship with both Bill and Eric — which is almost as dirty as Season 4's dream-sequence threesome — her role in the impending civil war against the Sanguinistas and what Nora's ( Lucy Griffiths ) betrayal of The Authority really means in the long run. True Blood Clips - "Whatever I Am, You Made Me"

True Blood still has a couple of open wounds to address before Season 5 can truly get under way.  For starters, Eric and Bill are still in the hands of the Authority and the true death could come their way any minute.  Thankfully for Eric, Bill is an expert negotiator and True Blood 's bad boys may yet have a chance at freedom.  Check it out: Another problem that needs to be dealt with asap is Tara.  It's pretty cool that she is now a vampire and all, but she is far less interesting as a raving fast-motion lunatic.  So when will Tara find some control?  With the help of an old friend, perhaps sooner than you think: Of course there are yet bigger fish to fry.  Last week, for instance, we got our first look at Russell Edgington and he's not looking healthy nor happy.  Seems like once he is up to speed, True Blood may arrive at its darkest days yet.  There is still the question of who set him free. Is there a traitor amongst our group of familiars?  And while I love the Pam back-story we're getting, I can't help but wonder what the ultimate context of it all is.  Is Pam merely recalling her vampire infancy as a way of coping with her new role as a maker?  The answers are coming. Will Sookie Tell Alcide That She Killed Debbie on True Blood?

Bon Temps' resident fairy princess is harboring a deep, dark secret. She may look innocent, but don't be deceived — Sookie Stackhouse is a cold-blooded killer! Or so she says. We were willing to write off Debbie's death as an act of self-defense, but Sookie has a different story. Last week, she told Lafayette she pulled the trigger with the intent to kill. Put simply, it was a wild act of vengeance. But can you really blame the girl? She saw her best friend take a bullet to the brain!... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/Ww0RDWn6BCk/will-sookie-tell-alcide-that-she-killed-debbie-on-true-blood

True Blood Season 5, Episode 3 Spoilers: Pam and Sookie Battle

Girlfight! On Sunday's new episode of True Blood, we'll finally see the showdown we've been waiting for:  Pam vs. Sookie! Since Pam's a vampire and Sookie a mere mortal (well, fairy, but still mortal), it will be a "brief-yet-badass battle," according to E! Online. Sookie stirs things up when she goes to Fangtasia to ask yet another favor of Pam: to summon Tara, who's gone missing.  Pam tells "Tinkerbell" that she has better things to do than helping "that pathetic excuse... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/ghHam4LhIAA/true-blood-season-5-episode-3-spoilers-pam-and-sookie-battle

True Blood Spoilers: Is Lilith Still Alive?

Who knew vampires were so religious? Last week's episode of True Blood introduced us to the Vampire Bible, which tells the story of the first vampire, Lilith, who was made in God's image (because he, too, is a vamp). We speculated that Lilith may still be alive (and behind that big door in the Authority's council chamber). Now comes word from TV Guide that we will meet Lilith this season, though not everyone is willing to kneel before her. "I don't know if Roman believes it," Christopher... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/tvJbai4xsg4/true-blood-spoilers-is-lilith-still-alive

True Blood Season 5, Episode 3 Spoilers: Three "Couples" Have Sex For First Time!

The day somebody's not having sex in Bon Temps is the day the town went up in smoke (probably from a fiery hook-up the day before).  But in True Blood Season 5, Episode 3, the sex quotient rockets higher than ever when three "couples" do it for the first time, according to TV Line's Michael Ausiello. What could he mean by "couples"? Does that indicate the pairings are not in relationships, or that there's some unusual about them?  We can rule out:Bill + Sookie. Eric + Sookie. Eric... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/LZKW2uBGPt4/true-blood-season-5-episode-3-spoilers-three-couples-have-sex-for-first-time

True Blood Preview: Searching for Tara

All the blood that was spilt in the season 4 finale of  True Blood  was cleaned up in last week's premiere, but that doesn't mean that the mess that has been created got any smaller. Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) are still trying to figure out what to do with Tara (Rutina Wesley) in her new vampire state and Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) face the Vampire Authority. Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) warned Sookie that thanks to Tara's head wound there might be complications (or as Pam put it she could be "fucktarded") and there are certainly issues with Tara now that she is a vampire. This week's episode begins with Tara attacking Sookie and Pam only intervenes after Tara has bitten Sookie and not before Pam has had an opportunity to laugh about it all. Being Tara's maker, Pam tells Tara not to bite either Lafayette or Sookie and to stay in the house. In the house Tara begins to trash the place and Lafayette seriously considers staking Tara, until Sookie stops him from doing so. In a moment of lucidity Tara tells Sookie and Lafayette that she will never forgive either of them and then Tara speeds off into the night.
