TV ratings: 'Big Bang Theory' rises Thursday but 'Scandal' and 'Grey's Anatomy' fall

Fast National ratings for Thursday, March 6, 2014Per usual, "The Big Bang Theory" and "Scandal" were among Thursday's top shows in the ratings. But while "Big Bang" was up a little bit over its performance last week, "Scandal" took a hit in its second episode back from hiatus. The strong performance from "Big Bang" helped "The Millers" and "Two and a Half Men" as well, with the latter scoring its best numbers since its season premiere. At ABC, "Grey's Anatomy" joined "Scandal" in dipping week to week. "Parks and Recreation" and "Parenthood" each rose slightly for NBC, as did "The Vampire Diaries" on The CW. "American Idol" dropped slightly for FOX.CBS averaged 10.7 million viewers and a 6.6 rating/11 share in households for the night. FOX (6.64 million, 4.2/7) narrowly beat ABC (6.58 million, 4.6/8) for second. Two TV lovebirds are reuniting on the set of Two and a Half Men! CBS has announced that Ashton Kutcher has recruited his real-life fiance Mila Kunis for an upcoming guest spot. Mila will play Vivian, a free-spirited traveler who has a love-at-first-sight encounter with Walden. The trouble is, of course, that Walden is about to propose to someone else. This will mark the first small-screen reunion for Ashton and Mila since they co-starred together on That 70s Show for eight seasons.
